Khoi Vinh’s presentation on the difference between print and web design brought up a lot of good points of just how much typography is limited when it comes to web design. While at the same time saying just how much better web design over all is better and more usefull. Some amazing things to think about is just how much of a struggle it was not too long ago when designers had to keep in mind when designing a web site just how limited the users type selection was. When designers had to put a big heading before entering a page saying please download a certain font before viewing this page. This is just one limitation that should not make anyone start to believe that print design is better than web. The web is growing so fast and becoming so usefull that I really cannot see it beginning to slow down anytime soon.
